As the Supply Chain Manager, Demand Planning, you will oversee and optimize our company's supply chain operations, with a focus on procurement, and material planning.  The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management principles across these key domains, excellent leadership skills, a history of implementing MRP systems, and a proven track record of implementing successful supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency,  improvements throughout our operation, and drive business growth.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance across logistics, procurement, and planning functions.
  • Develop and implement Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) strategies to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals within logistics, procurement, and planning, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, procurement, planning, manufacturing, and sales to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of supply chain activities.
  • Implement robust supply chain analytics and reporting mechanisms to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across logistics, procurement, and planning, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Odeko’s inbound supply chain to drive consolidation and create best practices.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to drive collaboration and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Participates in special projects, including analysis and summary of data with recommendations for future transportation procedures. 
  • Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks).
  • Align with internal customers, Finance and Procurement Operations to understand budgetary targets by building and develop methods of measuring and defining savings, value and other category metrics.
  • Develop and implement ways to measure suppliers to drive continuous performance improvement

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain operations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams within logistics, procurement, and planning to achieve common goals.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools. (Oracle NetSuite considered a plus)
  • Supplier/vendor relationship management experience
  • 5+ years’ experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and analytical platforms, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots and V-Lookups.
  • Experience understanding process flow and suggest improvements to deliver cost savings, inventory reduction, or other benefits to the site.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ERP/MRP Implementation Experience
  • Lean / Six-Sigma knowledge
  • Must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric
  • Ability to work with ambiguity
  • Provide a positive customer experience internally and externally

 

This role is an L4, Manager.  Compensation is between $115,000 - $130,000
