What we’re looking for: 

Odeko is seeking  a creative and innovative Social Media and Content Manager to build awareness for the brand through owned and earned media. You’ll be the voice of Odeko across channels, creating content that reflects and reinforces our distinctive brand mission and values. This position requires a unique blend of creativity and strategic vision mixed with attention to detail, organization, and strong communication skills. You have your finger on the pulse of the small business community and social media trends and combine your passion for the two to build effective and engaging content. You’ll be a crucial part of bringing the Odeko brand to life and helping audiences connect with our product and community of small businesses. 

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Write and create witty, engaging, and on-brand content for target audiences, ensuring consistency across all content channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok 
  • Create an editorial strategy and calendar, building on our current channel presence to increase overall brand visibility and equity
  • Monitor organic social media performance, translating data from a variety of channels and reporting tools into clear and actionable insights for key stakeholders across the company
  • Collaborate with Performance Marketing Manager to create and recommend content (both top-performing and new ideas) to be used in paid social campaigns
  • Establish and maintain community management best practices for responding to followers on all channels
  • Work closely with marketing team members to create integrated, multi-channel campaigns that drive engagement with the Odeko community and beyond

About you:

  • 5+ years’ experience in social media management, with hands-on experience owning some or all of the following channels’ strategies and content creation: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Deep understanding of social media best practices and experience developing channel playbooks
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience owning social media tracking and reporting tools 
  • Exceptional writing skills and a passion for storytelling combined with the ability to think strategically about how to connect with varied audiences
  • Prior experience developing messaging for B2B channels and interacting with the small business community
  • Collaborative and self-motivated. You’re adept at leading a team brainstorm but can also independently conceptualize and execute a viral TikTok campaign 

Bonus Points:

  • You’re passionate about working with and supporting small businesses!
  • Experience managing vendor and/or external agency relationships 
  • Previous experience collaborating on video content for social, email, and other channels
  • Knowledge of social publishing and monitoring/listening tools: Hootsuite, Social Studio, Sprout Social
  • Prior experience working with influencers or influencer agencies
