As a Transportation Scheduler, you will be responsible for executing routing and planning for inbound loads multiple Distribution Centers in the Supply Chain network based on direction. Through use of tools and coordination with the station, you will be accountable for cost, customer experience, and delivery partner experience. In addition, you will be instrumental in developing best practices and standard work for the network with assistance from Management. This role will be execution based and mission focused. Your work will impact our operations partners downstream and will help drive Odeko’s success.

Scope of Work:

  • Responsible for working with local Distribution Centers, and creating inbound delivery schedules that best suites the needs of the business.
  • Use data-driven decision making to achieve daily operational excellence.
  • Leverage quantitative analysis to identify best practices that improve customer, cost, and delivery partner outcomes
  • Assist in developing processes and systems to achieve metrics, often requiring fragmented solutions to temporarily overcome technical limitations. The ability to scale will be critical to all processes.
  • Develop deep knowledge of operational needs to drive best practices
  • Develop relationships across the building and network to ensure best practices are being shared and implemented
  • Work in partnership with both external and internal partners to create and adhere to innovative solutions to provide transportation support to the Operations network
  • Develop and implement ways to measure suppliers to drive continuous performance improvement.
  • This position could require occasional travel (<5%)

Core Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain or transportation operations
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Strong analytics and mathematics background
  • Supplier/ vendor relationship management experience
  • 1+ years’ experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and analytical platforms, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots and V-Lookups.
  • Experience understanding process flow and suggest improvements to deliver cost savings, process improvements, or other benefits to the site.
