What we’re looking for: 

We are looking for an individual who can lead People Operations in Belfast, Ireland. This individual will be a valued member of the People Team and will play a pivotal role as a  contributor to the broader Odeko People strategy for our Belfast office. This leader will be responsible for the  execution and management of Operations, Systems, Analytics, and Payroll. This person will serve as the bridge between People Operations in Belfast and the US. The Director of People will also manage the HR administration for international employees who operate in remote locations. 

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Set the overall direction and drive the continuous enhancement of operations & systems capabilities in which to reduce manual processes, and create simple, compliant processes
  • Ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant HR operation
  • Be a leader within the People team who drives process improvement and executes by example
  • Own Belfast people systems and data
  • Own our global people systems and data, automating where necessary for growth
  • Partner with cross functional teams on future roadmaps and the implementation of solutions
  • Become a trusted partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Lead the development and training of HR systems policies, processes, and procedures 
  • Own Belfast operations and office management
  • Work with Site Lead to own Belfast cultural initiatives and team building activities

About you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR or related discipline. 
  • 10+ years experience in a People Operations and/or Human Resources role.
  • Key player for driving adoption of DEI and culture initiatives.
  • Thrives leading projects focused on improving the employee experience through process standardization, data, and automation.
  • Experience leading the global payroll function at a rapidly scaling start-up company
  • Enjoys building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across all levels and functions.
  • Works collaboratively with People Team counterparts. 

Bonus Points:

  • Experience managing a global HR/People team.
  • HR Certification (SHRM or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of employment law
