What we’re looking for: 

The Vice President of Integration will lead the newly created Integration Management Office (IMO). This individual will be responsible for planning, executing and tracking  the integration of new distribution,  technology, and other targets into Odeko post-closing. The Vice President of Integration will play a pivotal role in the due diligence phase of transactions to develop a shared understanding of strategic objectives and evaluation of potential acquisitions. The VP will be critical for ensuring the long-term success of our acquisitions by quarterbacking our integration efforts in partnership with and in support of key cross-functional leaders across the organization and by managing the IMO. This role will be instrumental in developing integration strategies and playbooks, supporting confirmatory diligence, leading integration planning, coordinating cross-functional integration workstreams, and driving deal post-mortems. This person will operate as the bridge between Odeko and newly acquired businesses.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Develop playbooks and key milestones associated with integration 
  • Define operational and financial metrics to capture value and key success metrics
  • Participate in the due diligence phase of transactions to develop a shared understanding of deal risk and determine mitigation strategies.
  • Lead Odeko and its new businesses in the transition from acquisition to full consolidation of operations
  • Mobilize plans around key work streams and drive execution in a strategic manner
  • Assist in the creation of growth strategies that leverage the broader offering of the combined companies
  • Mentor and develop IMO team members on how to achieve operational excellence.

About you:

  • 8+ years of experience, including 2+ years of management consulting experience at a top tier firm and 2+ years of corporate development experience, ideally in an integration role and within logistics organizations
  • Demonstrated track record of successful M&A integration and/or operational project management experience
  • Demonstrated track record of leading complex strategic initiatives with multiple stakeholders in fast-changing environments
  • Strategic mindset with sound business judgment and exceptional analytical skills
  • Ability to distill massive amounts of complex information into digestible formats that lead to productive discussions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and track record of building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships in order to drive cross-functional understanding and cooperation across the business
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong detail-orientation and relentlessness about the quality of your work
  • Ability to thrive in uncertainty
  • Extensive travel required - roughly 30%
