About the role:

Odeko is looking for an extraordinary digital marketing manager to help build brand awareness and drive new user acquisition through paid digital channels. As a key member of the Marketing Team, you’ll be responsible for helping build and optimize online campaigns across a variety of digital channels, working with cross-functional teams to support Odeko’s SaaS, eCommerce, and mobile ordering services.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the fundamentals of digital marketing campaigns and media buying, with a healthy obsession over testing creatives, channels, and spends to maximize business impact. Armed with 5+ years of experience successfully setting up and optimizing paid campaigns for rapidly growing brands. 

As a remote team, proactivity, accountability, and (over)communication are critical to be successful in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead digital marketing channels and media buying strategy focused on customer and revenue growth within search, display, mobile, remarketing, and other programmatic channels
  • Partner with internal and external teams to build healthy acquisition funnels and measurable marketing programs fueling growth
  • Help develop digital campaign strategies to drive brand and user growth
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with key external partners
  • Identify trends and insights to maximize campaign KPIs
  • Create strategic experiments to measure incrementality and impact of digital investment
  • Help prioritize marketing spend and ensure the optimal allocation of resource
  • Optimize acquisition campaigns by analyzing data sets and targeted audience groups

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in driving digital marketing and/or successfully setting up and managing paid channels 
  • You have created brand-defining moments, optimized conversion funnels, and driven significant user and revenue growth through paid media strategies
  • You have a strong understanding of the paid marketing channels and marketing tools 
  • You are a master at segmenting specific audience groups to target within any channels  
  • You have experience in programmatic display buying 
  • You love building and validating everything through tests and calculating incrementality
  • You have cultural curiosity and a deep understanding of consumer behavior that delivers innovative and distinctive brand strategy
  • You know your way around Shopify and/or Iterable 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • You are passionate about helping small businesses grow, with an in-depth understanding of the culture and trends 
  • You have prior experience working on integrated campaigns that span a healthy variety of media types and in support of revenue goals
  • You are social media savvy
  • You have the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload
  • Experience with email, social media, and ad marketing automation tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with extracting and understanding insights through analytics or data visualization tools is a plus
