We are hiring a Content Writer to work on a pivotal Federal program that is positively impacting millions of Americans' daily lives.
What you'll be doing:
As a Content Writer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting clear, concise, and engaging user experiences for veterans. You will collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that our digital products are intuitive, accessible, and meet the needs of our users.
What you’ll bring:
Writing and editing plain language text in digital products (like online forms, apps, or other online services) describing complex government services
Experience utilizing Figma
Liaison, coach and persuade designers, product managers or other government staff to use plain language
Provide content writing, editing and coaching to other teams developing digital products at VA
Experience collaborating with SMEs, interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
Auditing content and working within complex information architecture
Ability to carefully follow detailed content style guides and design systems
Nice to haves: Writing and editing inside a government department or agency, preferably VA
Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically
Must be able to attain low-level security clearance
