Business Analyst - Oracle Fusion | Hatfield | Hybrid (3 Days WFH)
What does the team do:
The Enterprise Applications team is focused on providing business applications and services which are supported, stable and streamlined to enable Ocado teams to work in a clear, controlled and cost effective manner.
Our close knit team has an interesting opportunity for an Oracle Fusion Business Analyst to support the needs of the business, specifically HR, Finance and Legal.
Role & responsibilities:
- Leading delivery of Oracle Fusion business analysis for Business as Usual, Continuous Improvement and Project/Programme activity across the Finance space
- Working closely with our Oracle technical team to support the evolution of Oracle Fusion
- Capturing and evaluating existing processes and translating them into business process and system requirements
- Needs analysis, task planning and process/data analysis
- Proactively highlight risks, issues or dependencies with other projects or BAU activities
- Offering creative solutions to develop existing functionality
- Understanding current system design to support the growth of the Oracle platform and introducing new functionality
- Working closely with Finance teams to utilise Oracle’s potential
- Effectively communicating status updates and risk assessments to stakeholders
- Developing test plans, supporting end user testing and management of end-to-end issue resolution
- Understanding & translating the needs of stakeholders from across the business to ensure that the product is fit for purpose
Core skills required:
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion/R12 implementations or Oracle development
- Experience of Finance Process, Supply Chain Management and Procurement
- Demonstrable experience in Business Analysis
- Demonstrable experience of working in Finance or with Finance Teams
- Proven experience using Visio to a high level
- Strong communications skills
- Management qualification or relevant years of experience
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
- Have previous experience of working on multiple projects within a professional services or technical organisation
