About the team:

The team is involved in Global Projects from new Products being developed by Ocado Technology to onboarding new global clients looking to consume our services.

The growing team consists of both junior and senior roles with a broad wealth of knowledge, expertise and experiences. It’s a collaborative, supportive and innovative team geared to continually experiment, learn and develop to reach their collective goals.  

As a member of the team you’ll be directly contributing to how the team continues on its journey to evolve to the growing needs of the business with plenty of opportunities for you to learn and develop along the way.

Service Design & Transition Lead / Senior Project Mgr Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of exciting new Projects across the lifecycle with different areas of the business to ensure new services are designed and delivered successfully into BAU.

Contributing to and owning delivery of CSI initiatives to ensure the team and function continues to evolve and adapt to the needs of the growing business.

Managing relationships with key areas of the business to ensure we understand their needs and on the front foot to support new initiatives.  

 Key responsibilities: 

  • Accountable for driving Service Design & Transition outcomes consistently across all Projects on the Portfolio
  • Engage and work collaboratively with key stakeholders across Project, Product, Technical, Service Mgt and Operational Teams at key stages of the Service Design & Transition Process to...
    • Define and Agree Service Design & Transition Plans
    • Ensure Client / Business Service Performance Requirements are understood and built into the BAU Service Model
    • Assure Operability is built into Technical Solutions and Service Designs
    • Validate Run Costs have been factored into Project and Operational Budgets  
    • Define, Agree and Manage Delivery of Operational Requirements
    • Manage Operational Risks 
    • Support key decision making throughout the Project Lifecycle
    • Produce Portfolio and Project Level Reports
  • Own and Deliver agreed CSI Initiatives
  • Build and Maintain Relationships with key areas of the business

What We Would Like To See: 

  • Service Design / Transition / Project Management Experience on a Portfolio of Projects
  • Managing and delivering CSI initiatives
  • Facilitating workshops to drive required outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder focus to help building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and new business areas
  • Demonstrable ability to plan, prioritise and co-ordinate own and team activities 
  • Can engage both technical and non technical stakeholders at all levels to convey ideas / complex challenges through conversation and written communication
