What you will be doing

The Ocado Smart Platform (OSP) aspires to have the smartest and most technically advanced Supply Chain operation to underpin and advance its position as a world class platform for grocery eCommerce. The Supply Chain teams are responsible for building products to ensure that Supply Chain is one of the core components that keeps OSP at the forefront of the online grocery market.

As a product manager, you will partner with Engineering teams within Technology, providing clarity and consistency of business requirements across Supply Chain and acting as a bridge between the technical and business worlds. You will directly partner with an Engineering Team Lead, to be a key go-to person for one of our Supply Chain missions, sharing responsibility for product realisation to deliver great products and solutions for our clients and stakeholders. The Supply Chain department consists of a number of missions which individually and collectively focus on delivering value to our platform and therefore our clients by improving customer and business focused supply chain metrics.

We'd love to hear from if you have...

  • Experience with managing products built by engineering teams
  • Knowledge of working with multiple functional areas, including product management, engineering, UX/UI
  • Proven ability to plan, mange, track and deliver on commitments
  • Ability to work in a team effectively and / or work autonomously
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Defining product roadmaps, building collaboratively with design and engineering peers, and shipping at scale

  • Able to respond positively to new / changing business requirements and prioritise accordingly
  • Highly organised and able to plan, manage, track and deliver effectively
