Be a part of a fast paced and growing People Analytics team who support the Logistics mission of Ocado which is made up of over 14,000 employees. Support Logistics in achieving their ambitious People Strategy, by helping grow our suite of reports and dashboards, as well as providing regular ad-hoc analysis and insights. 

We are looking to hire 2 Insights Analysts into the People team, one of the roles is an Absence Analyst, which is more focussed around time and attendance. Both roles will be a mix of hybrid working with a mix of working from home and in our head office which is located in Hatfield.

What will you be doing

  • Expand on the existing HR suite of reporting, with an initial focus on developing talent acquisition / recruitment dashboards.
  • Conduct regular ad-hoc analysis to help stakeholders answer real time business questions
  • Communicate with stakeholders to elicit and understand requirements, which will in turn enable to you to successfully scope any analytics projects
  • Present actionable insights to stakeholders on the back of any analysis you have conducted
  • On-going maintenance and continuous improvement of existing reports
  • Creation and management of robust suite of reporting focused on absence (Absence Analyst)
  • Support the people team and managers in understanding what is driving absence levels regionally  (Absence Analyst)

About you..

  • Previous experience in Data Analysis 
  • Proficiency in Excel or google sheets (formulas, pivots, macros) and experience performing ad-hoc analysis.
  • Ability to aggregate and analyse data from large, complex data sets
  • Ability to translate business requirements from non-technical stakeholders 
  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
  • Ideally experience working with a HRIS or ATS system, using BigQuery or SQL and BI tools such as Tableau or Data Studio
  • Strong SQL experience required for the Absence Analyst vacancy
