We have an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to join our fantastic procurement team on a permanent basis as a Procurement Administrator. 

The Procurement Administration Team are an integral part of the Procurement function within Ocado Logistics. This exciting and challenging role will provide full administrative support to the Logistics Procurement function and will help us operate even more efficiently. This is a busy, yet rewarding opportunity to work closely with the Procurement Manager and Ocado Logistics Suppliers, and therefore requires a high level of multitasking, prioritising and administration skills.

Key Accountabilities 

  • Work closely with the Procurement, Finance and Operations teams and be primarily responsible for monitoring and reporting procurement performance
  • Manage and handle requests from both internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain and manage the corporate procurement modules (Oracle) and all data input and upload of the group’s supplier price catalogues
  • Process purchase orders accurately, on a timely basis, and in accordance with company policy
  • Match Goods Received notes to purchase orders accurately and on a timely basis
  • Ensure order specification is correctly understood before raising orders
  • Obtaining proof of delivery for all orders
  • Correspond with vendors regarding prices, product availability and delivery, ensuring all documentation is provided
  • Assist, where possible, with other work such as KPI preparation and other activities to support the wider team

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience within a fast-paced administration role 
  • A logical approach to maintaining large amounts of supplier and product data is important
  • This role will involve lots of interaction with external suppliers and other departments so strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required
  • Computer literacy (Google suite, MS office)
