The Ocado Logistics Recruitment team recruit various roles such as Area Managers, Operations Managers at a high volume level.

We are now looking for an In-House Recruitment Partner to join our team, who has experience of finding suitable talent either in an agency or in-house recruitment environment. You'll work with key stakeholders to understand requirements across the year and you will be responsible for managing talent pipelines in order to support all hiring targets and also keep a talent pipeline for future candidates.

You will be a team player that shows passion for outstanding customer service and ability to manage a number of tasks at the same time, work well under pressure & prioritise work appropriately. You will be experienced in liaising with senior stakeholders while working closely with other teams & areas of the business.

The pressure is always on & things at Ocado Group change fast, the recruiter needs to adopt a composed & resilient approach to their day-to-day tasks.

What will you be doing?

  • Acting as a brand ambassador to ensure our candidates understand and align with our employee proposition and Ocado Values
  • To review and assess the turnover and retention rates to forecast hiring needs
  • Accelerate hiring times by building a talent pipeline to ensure that we can recruit on demand
  • Taking a proactive and consultative approach with key stakeholders
  • Improve the quantity and quality of potential hires by accessing a wide pool of internal and external semi passive/passive candidates
  • Proactively engage with candidates, providing a great candidate experience
  • You will be regularly reviewing, analysing and reporting on key aspects of the recruitment process to various stakeholders
  • Recommend qualification criteria for each position
  • Update job descriptions (e.g. add tasks or modify requirements)
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to write job ads for current openings
  • Advertise job openings on careers pages, job boards and social networks (e.g. LinkedIn)
  • Promote employee referral programs
  • Source candidates through online channels (e.g. professional networks and portfolio sites)
  • Screen CVs and applications and update candidates on hiring processes
  • Arranging for Interviews to take place and carry out various screening with candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round and second-round interviews
  • You will be regularly reviewing, analysing and reporting on key aspects of the recruitment process to various stakeholders
  • Answer candidates’ queries regarding the application process
  • Provide interview feedback, when necessary and appropriate
  • Help new hires onboard
  • To cover the work of other team members where necessary
  • Work with the Recruitment Manager/Senior Recruitment Partner to identify improvement opportunities within the attraction of candidates, use of the Applicant Tracking System and the interaction with candidates throughout the recruitment life cycle.

About you

  • You’ll be an experienced recruiter with previous experience for recruiting within an agency or internal environment
  • Familiar in using an applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Possess strong attention to detail whilst managing multiple roles at any one time
  • Ability to communicate effectively also create strong working relationships with stakeholders
  • Team player with a flexible approach to work
  • Be able to prioritise and manage your own workload in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • You’ll take a proactive and analytical approach when managing your pipeline
  • PC skills - proficient in Microsoft Office or G-Suite software
