What does the team do

The Enterprise Applications team is focused on providing business applications and services which are supported, stable and streamlined to enable Ocado teams to work in a clear, controlled and cost effective manner.

Working within the Financial Systems team, this role provides key frontline support &  will involve resolution of support issues in Oracle Fusion as well as scope to assist the business on new projects and deliverables, whilst maintaining the integrity of financial information.


What would I be doing?

  • Working side by side with the other support analysts across Oracle Financial Systems Team
  • Partnering with the Oracle Delivery Manager to ensure change requests are completed via change management process.
  • Collaborating with business users for continual service improvement. Building rapport and credibility.
  • Manage your queue of incidents & service requests through to resolution. Ensuring that the resolution is fully documented and working with Oracle Support if you are unable to resolve yourself.
  • The ability and experience of impact assessments of change.
  • Supporting our users with the SaaS quarterly update life cycle.
  • Document key process and How to Guides to support other team members and knowledge share.  
  • Implement and run Release and upgrade management best practises for Oracle Fusion. 
  • Creation of high-quality functional specification documentation which can be used to detail business processes and enable technical build where integrations are required between Oracle Cloud ERP and peripheral systems.
  • Support the Ocado through full testing lifecycles and Go Live including test script creation.
  • Liaising with Oracle to ensure effective management of client SRs
  • Manage on-time project delivery and business expectations and ensure internal customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with risk management and change management on projects.
  • Recommending roadmaps to close performance gaps and developing high level implementation plans to work with the product manager

What we are looking for

  • Significant experience working as an Oracle ERP/Fusion Support Analyst (or functional consultant) for Oracle ERP Applications (Fusion cloud). (PPM, EPM, GRC,  SaaS suite, OCI)
  • Functional Financials & Supply Chain Management experience in Oracle Fusion.  
  • Functional knowledge of GL, AR, AP, iExpenses, CE, FA, PO, iProcurement, MRP
  • Understanding and experience in Configurations/Customisations, Extensions, Modifications, Localisations, Interfaces (CEMLIs)
  • Experience of managing Oracle Service Requests, including Sev-1 SRs, and the SR escalation process
  • Troubleshooting problems, including functional replication of issues
  • Proven experience of change control management
  • Proven experience of release management
  • Functional knowledge of Order Management, Inventory, Projects
  • Oracle OBI & OTBI

Experience with the following systems would make you stand out from the crowd

  • ITIL Certification
