Android Developer (Wroclaw)

Roles & Responsibilities

The roles and responsibilities of this role include:

  • ●  Development of the Android OSP Mobile application (mostly new features)

  • ●  Writing and maintaining automation tests suites

  • ●  Work collaboratively inside and outside the team to achieve business objectives

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    Essential

  • ●  Strong programming and object-oriented design skills.

  • ●  Good spoken and written English.

  • ●  Extensive knowledge of the Android SDK, Kotlin and modern development tools such as Android Studio.

  • ●  Experience working on published Google Play store apps.

  • ●  Pragmatic, but with a keen eye for detail.

  • ●  Passion for and understanding automated testing (snapshot testing, unit testing, UI testing, etc.).

  • ●  Advanced knowledge of good programming practices and standards (e.g. SOLID).

  • ●  Good knowledge of design and architectural patterns (e.g. GoF, MVVM, etc.).

  • ●  Experience with Jetpack (ViewModel, LiveData, Lifecycles, Room, etc.)

  • ●  Familiarity with the following technologies: Dagger 2, ViewModel, Espresso (for UI testing), GitLab CI, Retrofit, Compose, Kotlin Coroutines would be an advantage Desirable

  • ●  A fanaticism for clean code

  • ●  An understanding and experience of Agile software development

  • ●  Experience working in a continuous delivery environment

  • ●  A mastery of git

  • ●  Github projects or Google Play apps.
