Senior Content Marketing Manager

Summary

ObserveIT is looking for an experienced Senior Content Marketing Manager to lead our content strategy and produce high-quality content that generates awareness and drives leads through the funnel. We are looking for a self-starter with a can-do, roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic who is passionate about producing great content. While you are an excellent writer, your project management skills and get-it-done attitude make you a content marketing rock star.  

Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute on a content roadmap to support the buyer’s journey.
  • Develop and maintain a rolling editorial calendar that supports our overall go-to-market strategy including demand generation and channel marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with product marketing, customer success, demand generation, channel marketing, product management and sales teams to create blog posts, case studies, web content, videos, etc. to drive brand awareness and support lead/demand generation goals.
  • Develop effective keyword targeting strategy, prioritizing SEO initiatives and recommendations from our 3rd party agency; execute on planned SEO tactics to maximize organic reach and engagement
  • Own our blog strategy and expand our audience and reach through social channels.
  • Partner with designers, freelancers, and external stakeholders on content production; write content on behalf of our executives and advisory board for publication on various media channels.
  • Leverage organic social media channels to optimize content distribution and gain brand awareness.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on content marketing experience for a tech/software company (cyber security a plus!).
  • Top-notch project management skills, ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish.
  • Portfolio of engaging marketing materials including eBooks, case studies, emails, landing pages, datasheets, web content, infographics, and other short-form and long-form content.
  • Excellent copywriting skills that inspire new ideas; copy-editing skills that take existing copy from good to great.
  • Outstanding people skills, gains satisfaction from collaborating with others and collaborative by nature with an ability to influence peers and executives alike.
  • Experience or interest in cyber security.
