Purpose of the Role

As a member of the Development team, the Associate, Corporate and Foundation Grant Management will play a critical role in the sustainability, function, and growth of the Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) fundraising team. Their primary focus will be supporting the creation and implementation of CFR stewardship benefits and the execution of deliverables for a portfolio of current donors held by the CFR team, currently estimated at $140 million. The Associate is responsible for supporting the Frontline fundraisers in benefit execution for current donors, including marketing, program execution, employee engagement, and annual and financial reporting in coordination with Foundation teams, including Finance, Legal, Creative & Communications, and Global Programs. This role will enable the CFR team to maximize its time on fundraising activities.

The Associate will report to the Manager, Corporate & Foundation Grants Management.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Strategy Creation: Create and implement a suite of CFR benefits to include marketing tools, employee engagement initiatives, programmatic engagement, and additional stewardship practices.
  • Donor Management: In partnership with the Senior Director and the Deputy Director, Corporate & Foundation Grants Management, coordinate with Donor contacts on specific deliverables, supporting most day-to-day communication with partnerships and deliverables execution.
  • Stewardship Planning: Assist in planning and executing the stewardship cycle and strategy of CFR donors, focusing on engaging in overall Development Stewardship activities and supporting the CFR team in the regular stewardship calendar and renewal of the current portfolio.
  • Project Management: Work with the Deputy Director, Corporate & Foundation Grants Management to ensure all benefits for CFR donors are delivered promptly and efficiently in partnership with Creative & Communications, Global Programs, and Donor Relations teams. Key categories of deliverables include recognition, stakeholder engagement, events, and amplification.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain productive relationships with all intra-organizational Departments, including Legal, Financial, Creative & Communications, Global Programs, and Donor Relations.
  • Stakeholder Event Management: In coordination with the Senior Director and the Stewardship and Events team, strategizes and coordinates stakeholder engagement events.
  • Program Coordination: Serve as a point person for CFR team to Program teams with regular communication on partner needs, deliverables, and support
  • Reporting: Support financial reporting for grant management implementation in partnership with Development Operations and Finance and Annual Grant Reporting in collaboration with Donor Relations.

Required Qualifications

  • Has a track record of project management with multiple stakeholders involved in the planning and execution process.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a focus on timely follow-through.
  • Problem-solving and solutions-oriented, take the initiative to resolve conflict productively.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Adept at navigating the intricacies of tactical fundraising systems/processes (e.g., prospect tracking and scheduling, project management software, CRM maintenance, etc.).

The salary range for this role is between $59,755 and $74,670.
