Position Summary:

Oasys is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to support critical mission functions. This role focuses on monitoring and analyzing key division activities, facilitating executive communications, and developing operational insights for leadership. The Operations Research Analyst will be pivotal in keeping the division’s leadership informed on current engagements, anticipated activities, and emerging issues.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor division engagements, track action items, and provide executive summaries for leadership to ensure all activities align with strategic objectives.
  • Maintain a "look-ahead" calendar to anticipate upcoming engagements and key division activities, facilitating proactive planning.
  • Develop and update a weekly Federal Client Project Operational Dashboard to summarize situational updates, upcoming engagements, program updates, published products, and key issues requiring leadership focus.
  • Facilitate daily executive briefings for federal client leadership, coordinating inputs from each organizational element within the federal agency.
  • Address project-related issues, facilitating communication and timely responses to stakeholder needs.
  • Remain accessible during business hours for government consultations and promptly respond to technical concerns as they arise.
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills with senior management.
  • Stay current with industry standards and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in analyzing complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Ability to interpret data from various sources to inform strategic decision-making and operational improvements within a high-stakes environment.
  • Proficient in creating dashboards, executive summaries, and data visualizations that communicate complex information effectively to senior leaders.
  • Experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to develop and maintain operational dashboards.
  • Skilled in planning and managing "look-ahead" schedules and anticipating future engagements or operational needs.
  • Capable of aligning division activities with broader organizational goals and maintaining a proactive approach to emerging issues.
  • Strong organizational skills, with experience managing projects from conception through execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders, monitor progress, track action items, and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Proven track record of effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Skilled in managing relationships, facilitating productive meetings, and coordinating across organizational elements to gather input and drive outcomes.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Ability to translate technical and operational information into concise, actionable summaries, reports, and presentations.
  • High attention to detail, particularly in tracking, analyzing and summarizing key operational information.
  • Ability to meticulously review large volumes of data and documentation, ensuring accuracy and relevance in all reporting.
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze options, and develop effective solutions.
  • Skilled in applying logical frameworks and decision-making processes to solve complex operational challenges within time constraints.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and respond proactively to emerging issues.
  • Capable of working independently, showing initiative, and handling multiple tasks within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with tools and software commonly used in operations research, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), data analysis tools, and any relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

 Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degrees in Business Management or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a relevant field, fast-paced, high-volume environment within the federal support services contracting industry.

 Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with supporting cybersecurity and infrastructure security projects.
  • Familiarity with issues related to critical infrastructure protection.
  • Background working on programs supporting critical infrastructure and national policy initiatives.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability clearance.

Work Location:

  • Arlington, VA (On-site - Hybrid)
