Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Process Analyst to join us at Oasys.

As a vital team member, you will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement in our current business processes, developing, and implementing new strategies and technologies, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful adoption of the new procedures. Additionally, you will conduct process audits and performance assessments to ensure the effectiveness of the new processes and provide training and support to team members to ensure that best practices are followed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides business process analysis and evaluation, system analysis, requirement gathering, testing, documenting, and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate among the customer technology office business units to gather business specifications and requirements and act as the office contact for that business unit's needs.
  • Document competing goals and resource conflicts for customer review and resolution.
  • Draft documentation and artifacts, such as works plans, reports, decision support artifacts, files, presentations, and other written communications, to support customer business and IT initiatives and technical solutions.
  • Document current and future business processes using visualization tools to create, assess, report, and communicate organizational health metrics, priorities, infrastructure performance, and process flow diagrams.
  • Work with customers and representatives to document and maintain mission value streams to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Research and evaluate the technical insertion candidate's proposal for development baseline; review and update research records to ensure an appropriate planning and execution feedback loop; and develop associated evaluation criteria and methodologies for emerging technologies.
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where small teams share various duties.
  • All other duties assigned by Oasys managers and contribute to Oasys' proposal activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience planning IT capability, capacity, and IT transformation.
  • Experience gathering/eliciting requirements and facilitating group discussions.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity to gain clarity on requirements.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Communication skills to document, develop, and present technical issues so stakeholders can readily understand the content and their related actions.
  • Excellent computer, documentation, and presentation.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment and learn new technology concepts, including software and hardware.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau).
  • Business Process Reengineering (BPR): Familiarity with BPR principles and methodologies to radically redesign business processes for improved performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation, and testing.
  • Ability to multi-task & support multiple priorities.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Business Analytics, Statistics or related technical discipline from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience
  • Experience with data-intensive software development, requirements gathering and documentation, managing client relationships, business process analysis, project management software, and software development life cycle.
  • Must have experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business processes, systems, and user needs, including documenting process flows and requirements, supporting the development of systems to align with business process re-engineering, and providing consultation on complex projects as a top-level contributor.
  • Must have a technology background and experience with re-engineering complex business processes, designing and documenting processes in close consultation with business users and technology teams, and the ability to contribute to the solution architecture.
  • Will work as part of a team responsible for the data modernization initiative.
  • Ability to work under only general direction.
  • Documenting roles and responsibilities using RACI matrices
  • Facilitating meetings with Senior Division Directors to glean their current roles and responsibilities
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze and identify improvements and inconsistencies in current processes.
  • Designing to-be processes and gaining consensus from Senior Directors
  • Understanding and defining key business processes and requirements to map process flows
  • Documenting the to-be processes in a Governance document(s) and Service Level Agreements
  • Developing Training materials such as briefings to train personnel on the new to-be processes

Clearance:

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to obtain a public trust

Required Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Scrum Master Certification
