Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund supplies 1 million smallholder farmers with the agricultural services they need to make their farms vastly more productive. Our 8,000+ team is drawn from diverse backgrounds and professions. With operations across six core countries in Africa, we make farmers more prosperous by providing quality farm supplies on credit, delivered within walking distance of farmers' homes, and agricultural training to improve harvests. About the Role

We are looking for an experienced data coordinator with survey coding skills using CommCare or ODK applications. You will perform intermediate to advanced activities in MS Excel (can perform complex functions) Or Google Sheets to design and manage projects in Kenya.


  • Program survey designs in CommCare, including establishing display and validation conditions
  • Prepare and upload control sheets in Commcare/ODK
  • Develop all Indicators related reporting tools, including feedback guidelines
  • Use CommCare/ODK to calculate Indicators, produce weekly Indicator reports and resolve discrepancies with the field team.
  • Manage Back Check and data check processes for performance evaluations, and monitor follow-up actions.
  • Provide comprehensive weekly reports on all data stream related matters to the Manager.
  • Any other responsibilities that may be assigned

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

  • At least 2 years experience with M&E data management or data processing and analysis
  • People management attributes
  • Knowledge of CommCare/ODK Programming system is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) or Google sheets
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics or another related field.
  • Experience with survey planning, execution and reporting
  • English, Kiswahili languages
