Job Title: Jr. Hardware Program Manager (Contractor)
Location: Taiwan, Taipei

JOB SUMMARY

  • Ensure the execution of every project on-time and on-budget. This requires coordinating with other internal departments, developing and communicating a plan, and budgeting of both cost and time.
  • Get the best out of team members to benefit the projects that you oversee.
  • Create a strong project plan and utilize communication and reporting tools to share it with our team and production partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Track the tasks and timelines delivery.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation and assist PM to build and publish a unique cost and time plan for each product.
  • Identify important project milestones, manage their completion, track overall project progress.
  • Monitor and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure and report project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to the management team in English as needed.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including project requirements, product specs, samples, and quotations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Leadership qualities: Integrity, attention to detail, timeline sensitivity, and goal oriented.
  • 1 year of Project/ Program Management experience in high-tech and consumer products environments with cross-functional teams, experience leading projects.
  • Team-oriented: The team player must seamlessly partner with the development lead to assess risk, strategize, and meet project deliverables.
  • Experience creating comprehensive project timelines utilizing project management software, e.g. smartSheet, Google Suite, Workfront, etc.
  • Strong written skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and planning.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Desire to learn and grow independently.
  • Positive working attitude and the ability to effectively work with other members and willing to take advice from others.
