About Our Internship Program:

Our Summer 2024 internship cycle takes place between June 2024 – August 2024.  

This is an unpaid, remote, educational internship. Our internship program runs for 12 weeks and provides our interns a hands-on learning experience unparalleled in the classroom. As an intern, you will report directly to a supervisor, explore your career field of interest, gain in-house agency experience, acquire new skills for resume building, and establish vital career networks and mentors. 

Summary of Position:

This internship will directly report to a Sr. Growth Group Operations Manager. The position focuses on new business research and sales support offering candidates the opportunity to better understand the business side of a multi-million-dollar agency.

Job Responsibilities:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze industry/market trends, and new business opportunities using various research methodologies.
  • Keep up to date on target vertical brand’s marketing activity (i.e. product launches, releases, anniversaries, sponsorships, holidays, etc.).
  • Conduct comprehensive brand research for use in proactive ideation and for specific project briefs.
  • Support preparation for capabilities meetings including in-depth research on new business leads and prospects, creating custom materials, etc.
  • Attend and take notes in capabilities presentations and RFP briefing calls.
  • Complete new incoming RFP documents for circulation with the new business approvals team.
  • Seek and analyze competitor sales materials.
  • Detailed note taking in all meetings including, monthly meetings with the CEO & Founder of the company.
  • Draft and manage prospecting sequences including tracking responses, calls, meetings, opportunities, etc.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Sr. Manager, New Business with RFP proposal development.
  • Complete RFP specific research.
  • Join RFP brainstorms, work sessions, and reviews, and assist in note taking.
  • Assist with proofing proposals as needed.

  • Proficiency in LinkedIn & Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, and Keynote or Power Point)
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and resourceful in achieving success in the face of ambiguity while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Be currently enrolled in a college/university
  • Must have a personal laptop/computer
  • Must be able to work remotely at least 2 full days a week or 16 hours (availability for Tuesdays 10:30 -11:30am PST is required)
  • Ideal Majors: Business, Marketing, Communications

Location: We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York. The ideal candidate is located in PST time zone, however, we will consider MT, CT and EST candidates for this role.
