Author and manage the development of multiple high quality proposals, budgets and change orders for new business opportunities.
Coordinate with internal resources to develop a robust scope of work and competitive budget for proposals.
Gather proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating submissions and collections.
Ensure that all required information is provided in the final proposal within a given timeframe for delivery.
Work with the business development, project management and scientific teams (as necessary) to ensure the proposal meets the business needs of our clients.
Obtain approvals by reviewing proposals with key scientific consultants and management.
Look for efficiencies in proposal generation and actively maintain/update Nuventra’s proposal template library with new strategies for positioning Nuventra’s proposals for award.
Maintain quality results by using/updating templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone.
Participate in new client interactions to identify the potential scope of work and overall project needs of the client and translate that into a robust proposal.

The ideal candidate will have pharmaceutical/biotech/CRO industry experience or relevant work experience and be highly motivated and self-driven.
Experience with Phase 1 studies is a plus.
Given the written nature of our work product, you must ensure that deliverables (proposals, budgets, etc.) reflect the high quality that clients come to expect of our work.
Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Candidates must have the ability to work in a team setting and independently with little supervision to produce key deliverables.
This is an office-based position in Durham, NC. The possibility of working remotely for east coast candidates can be discussed.
