Who You Are:

As Nutrabolt's Vice President of Beverage Operations, will own and develop a global network and strategy of external beverage filling partners in order to grow and scale Nutrabolt’s C4 line of beverage products. You will be responsible for identifying new partners related to beverage co-manufacturing along with support operations, assessing and tracking capabilities and capacity, and managing the ongoing relationships within Nutrabolt’ s growing external beverage partner network. 

What You're Good At:

  • Leading and facilitating the supplier selection for new product development projects within beverage, including full RFQ and negotiation process and be able to present a TCO analysis justifying strategic supplier selection
  • Partnering with legal and quality teams to deliver agreements that include acceptable terms and conditions, service level/performance criteria and effective remedies for non-performance that will enable long-term partnerships with our supplier base
  • Collaborating with stakeholders in the development of long-range strategic plans for global co-manufacturing partnerships and innovative product launches within Nutrabolt’ s beverage division
  • Developing plans to support production volume variations by keeping an active set of options for key SKU’s across multiple beverage filler sites
  • Actively managing a large number of new and existing supplier relationships, associated costs, agreements, and recommendations towards cost saving and risk mitigation efforts
  • Analyzing and summarizing RFQ response data and facilitating the supplier selection and cost negotiation process for all innovation and localization sourcing events related to C4 line of beverage offerings
  • Developing and ensuring the execution of strategies that improve the agility and reliability of the beverage co-manufacturing network in support of new product launches and localization efforts
  • Working cross functionally on new supply agreements, cost negotiations, operational capabilities and capacities, initial and re-order lead-times, and tiered pricing structure
  • Leading the capability, capacity, and cost evaluation of New Product Development (NPD) concepts with beverage supply partners and working collaboratively with the NPD group and Procurement team in the evaluation and establishment of accurate COGs and timelines for new product commercialization

What You Contribute: 

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
  • Demonstrated and advanced financial acumen, strategic thinking, project management, and negotiating skills are critical
  • Minimum of 8-10+ years of experience in a high turn CPG corporate or beverage manufacturing environment with a preference for roles in Procurement / Sourcing / Operations / Commercialization
  • Experience with food, beverage, and nutraceutical packaging preferred
  • Strong knowledge of global raw materials and packaging markets a huge plus
  • Vast experience with supplier management, negotiations, and beverage manufacturing highly preferred
  • Ability to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgement and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with internal and external customers
  • Flexibility to independently travel up to 25%-50% of the time to supplier locations/plants, industry conferences, and our Austin office
