Who You Are:

As Nutrabolt's Supply Chain Coordinator in the UK, you will be responsible for managing day to day supply operations to include inventory planning, and production purchase order management to ensure customer order fulfillment and on- time delivery. The Master Planner position is accountable for fill rate and gross inventory levels.

What You're Good At:

  • Reviewing and placing purchase orders with assigned suppliers to manage appropriate inventory levels at our DC’s
  • Collaborating with suppliers and product development to identify and reconcile gaps and supply shortages; devise an early warning system for issue identification; and expedite and formulate alternate solutions to resolve backorders in a timely manner
  • Developing and implementing plans for achieving inventory turn goals, and execute supplier strategies
  • Reviewing supplier performance and meet with them to address issues, negotiate improvement opportunities, and develop and implement action plans to address and correct service issues
  • Supporting new product development including building optimized supply plans for new and renovated items
  • Identifying slow-moving inventory and working cross-functionally to devise ways to sell through the inventory
  • Processing receiving and inventory exceptions according to established time and process guidelines
  • Working with demand planners to develop scenarios to balance and optimize supply and demand
  • Partnering with demand planning, marketing, logistics, customer service, sourcing, sales and finance to develop and execute appropriate course(s) of action for product launches, product rollouts, inventory shortages, excess inventory and end-of-life product distribution
  • Implementing and applying supply chain optimization initiatives as required
  • Reviewing fulfillment tool reports, identifying product database errors, and taking appropriate action
  • Ensuring timely communication regarding inventory levels and key performance indicators to keep organization informed of issues
  • Planning, initiating and monitoring open purchase orders to ensure timely receipt and inventory of all products to meet demand plan while achieving corporate inventory objectives
  • Partnering with Inventory Control and Logistics functions to ensure proper supply chain procedures and internal controls are in place over physical product flow and accounting of inventory
  • Participating in the monthly S&OP process by providing reporting, root cause analysis, slide preparation, and KPI comments as required
  • In this role your goals and KPIs will be focused around:
    • Fill rate
    • Cost reduction
    • Process improvement
    • Product safety 

What You Contribute: 

  • Min 6+ years’ experience in supply planning, demand planning, or similar position required
  • BA degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
  • APICS or Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills
  • Basic negotiation, follow-up, and facilitation skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill date and a high attention to detail
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers
  • Strong sense of urgency and results orientation
  • Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel
