Who You Are:

Reporting to the Director of Field Marketing, as the Regional Field Marketing Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Field Marketing program in your assigned region.  This entails planning with the marketing team and Beverage sales team, supporting the beverage DSD (Direct Store Delivery) network, and ensuring on-brand execution of hundreds of events across multiple channels. Additionally, you are responsible for measuring effectiveness of all marketing programs, tracking ROI, implementing incentives, and executing continuous improvements. While this position is located in the New York City metro area, you will be required to travel at times to surrounding areas including Long Island, Manhattan, Broncs, Brooklyn, and Staten Island, and Queens.

What You're Good At:

  • Collaborating with Marketing, Sales, and Business Intelligence teams to plan and budget for field events
  • Establishing objectives, measurable goals, and KPIs for all regional field events
  • Supporting DSD sales during key promotional and marketing periods 
  • Recruiting, training and managing a team of brand ambassadors to execute sampling events and strategic sampling missions 
  • Ensuring training materials, such as sampling sheets, are current and effective for both existing products and new product launches
  • Conducting periodic training and reinforcement of proper sampling and brand messaging techniques 
  • Obtaining creative assets from the Creative team as needed for events
  • Researching and identify strategic partnerships with influencers and event producers in assigned region
  • Monitoring and measuring on effectiveness of programs including weekly and monthly recaps
  • Leading and providing strategic direction to mentor and inspire the Field Marketing team

What You Contribute: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR or related field 
  • 3-5 years of experience in field marketing and/or event planning
  • Experience working with beverage DSD’s, specifically with Polar & Big Geyser  
  • Strong networking skills to partner with a wide range of industries and personalities 
  • Superior organization and prioritization skills 
  • Creative and resourceful mindset to resolve issues that arise in the field
  • Ability to think strategically and holistically while also demonstrating exceptional attention to detail 
  • A passion for the fitness industry  
  • Willing to travel up to 75% in your territory
  • Willing to work some nights and weekends depending on event schedule
  • Ability to travel and commute to events 
  • Has a valid drivers license
