Product Managers at Nuna guide our products from concept to launch and beyond! We’re the voice of our customers within Nuna and love learning about their needs and challenges to craft better solutions. We work closely with User Experience, Engineering, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Legal, Compliance and Trust across new and existing products at Nuna. We thrive in ambiguous situations, manage chaos with a sense of humor, and have a bias towards action that is data‐driven and purposeful.

We're building an innovative digital experience for patients, which includes:

  • Digital Care Team: Imagine an AI-powered resource that can communicate with patients in their native language, answering questions about their care plans. This capability bridges the gap between patients and their healthcare needs, providing support and information at their fingertips.
  • Behavioral Economics in Action: We're leveraging the principles of behavioral economics and gamification to encourage healthy habits. Our product allows patients to track and manage daily health activities with engaging, proactive nudges. It's healthcare that's not only smart but also fun and rewarding.
  • Financial Incentives: Patients can earn financial rewards by completing health activities and achieving specific outcomes. This approach motivates and supports patients in their journey towards better health.
  • Diverse Population Focus: Our initiatives target a wide range of populations, including those with hypertension, diabetes, and general wellness needs. We're also committed to Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) screening, with future partnerships that will expand our reach and impact.

YOUR OPPORTUNITIES

  • Uncover unique insights quickly by understanding the domain and market, as well as customer and user needs
  • Convert insights into fully fleshed out features/capabilities with clear articulation for “why”
  • Execute effectively on prioritized capabilities using a test-measure-learn approach
  • Consistently ship high-quality capabilities on schedule 
  • Build instrumentation to monitor product performance and leverage generated data to inform roadmap decisions and broader strategy 
  • Work with leadership to define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap  ensuring alignment with company objectives and user needs
  • Collaborate closely with the actuarial and data partners to drive impact measurement and attribution to patient actions within product suite

  • Help patients better manage chronic conditions and improve quality of life
  • Help providers improve efficiency of care delivery
  • Help increase medication adherence (currently the national average is roughly 50%) and reduce the cost burden on US healthcare

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

  • A passion to help drive an equitable healthcare system that ensures positive health outcomes for everyone 
  • 8 + years’ experience Product Managing consumer facing applications
  • 5 years experience building mobile applications for large scale consumer adoption (1M+ users) with accountability for engagement and retention of users
  • 5 years experience with 0 to 1 journey in a fast paced startup setup - ability to deal with ambiguity with a strong sense of urgency and bias for action
  • 3 years experience designing incentive systems incorporating gamification to drive behaviors change
  • 3 years experience with A/B and multivariate testing
  • Strong critical thinking and effective written communication to convey information succinctly to partner teams 
  • Experience in developing and implementing outcome measurement initiatives, utilizing suitable test designs and methodologies 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Game Design, or Behavioral science
  • Experience in game development
  • Experimentation mindset
  • Past founder experience

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The expected salary range for this position is $162,000 to $198,000. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, and skillset.
