As a Senior Medical Writer, you will use your scientific expertise to develop and deliver innovative medical communications projects. Taking the lead role in projects where required, you will be responsible for producing high-quality scientific content for a range of of printed and computer-based scientific materials from technical manuscripts to congress materials, interactive web projects and sales aids.
The role will involve reviewing and interpreting data from preclinical and clinical research articles and clinical study reports, as the basis of creating scientific written materials in keeping with project briefs.
To succeed, you must have a BSc in the life sciences, ideally combined with an MSc or PhD. You will have considerable relevant medical writing experience within medical communications or pharmaceutical environments, with demonstrable experience of delivering across a broad range of medical communication editorial outputs. A track record of developing strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, combined with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, are essential to this role. You will also have extensive prioritisation and multi-tasking expertise, with excellent attention to detail.
