Are you an experienced Medical Writer/Senior Medical Writer, looking for a flexible and varied role across multiple therapy areas and deliverable types on a global level? If so, this could be just the opportunity for you …
Nucleus Global is the largest specialist medical communications company in the world, with over 800 experts employed across 14 offices globally. Our highly scientific, creative team is passionate about delivering innovative world-class solutions in partnership with our pharmaceutical clients. We are proud to support the biggest healthcare and medical brands in the world.
Our success has led to continued expansion in both the range of services we offer and our global presence. Due to our continued growth, we are excited to launch a new agency within the Nucleus Global group, NucleusX. As part of NucleusX, you will work with a centralised team within Nucleus Global, working across multiple agencies and therapy areas, providing support to different agencies on specific account deliverables, as need arises.
As a Medical Writer/Senior Medical Writer in NucleusX, you will use your scientific expertise to develop and deliver innovative medical communications projects across global accounts within our agencies in APAC, the EU and the US, as assigned. You will be responsible for producing high-quality scientific content for a range of printed and computer-based scientific materials, from technical manuscripts to congress materials, interactive web projects and sales aids. The role will involve interpreting data from preclinical and clinical research articles and clinical study reports, as the basis of creating scientific written materials in keeping with project briefs.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Medical Writer/Senior Medical Writer to take on a unique role, where you will work across multiple accounts and therapy areas within the Nucleus Global portfolio, providing flexibility and opportunity to develop expertise within cutting-edge clinical areas, across a variety of creative deliverables. This role will focus on delivery within assigned accounts for specific time periods and, due to the nature of the role, will see less direct client contact than our other agency positions within the wider group. As a Senior Medical Writer, you may have the opportunity for line management in this role, based on your preference for this additional responsibility.
To succeed, you must have a BSc in the life sciences, ideally combined with an MSc or PhD. You will have considerable relevant medical writing experience within medical communications or pharmaceutical environments, with demonstrable experience of delivering across a broad range of medical communication editorial outputs. A track record of developing strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, combined with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, are essential to this role. You will also have extensive prioritisation and multi-tasking expertise, with excellent attention to detail.
