Our success has led to continued expansion both in the range of services we offer and our global presence. We are now looking for a talented and enthusiastic Account Director.
As Account Director you will be responsible for supervising a range of communications projects. The role would suit a candidate who enjoys multi-tasking and is motivated to drive and develop the business. Using your project management / leadership skills and scientific expertise you will deliver a range of scientific services to clients, including scientific and strategic consultation, publications planning for new and existing drug therapies, satellite symposia, conferences and medical education projects in both web and multimedia formats. You will research information from a variety of sources in order to provide expertise in therapy area(s) and product(s) and as a primary client liaison point, you will be responsible for maintaining excellent relations with clients, meeting and surpassing client needs and guaranteeing high business standards. You may also have line management responsibility.
To succeed, you must have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in life sciences (advanced degree, preferred). You will also have a wealth of experience in a medical communications agency or pharmaceutical marketing environment. In addition, a proven track record of exceptional staff, project and client management experience is required. To be successful you would needed to have developed strategic communication plans and programs in a previous role. You should have good financial understanding and have had experience with budgeting. You will also be able to work well within a team and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
