About the team

The Regulatory Compliance team has an important mission at Nubank: ensure that we are compliant with applicable regulations. That means we need to understand both the regulation and our business, so we can act in a true partnership with our internal clients, and not only be a distributor of new rules.

Our team should help with definition of action plans as well as monitoring and testing their implementation. Also, the team is responsible to map and quantify regulatory risks of existing products/processes in order to properly manage them, providing a safe environment to support the decision making process and the sustainability of Nubank.


About the role

  • Foster a High-Performing Team by providing assertive feedback and keeping a close eye on the teams individual metrics;
  • Develop each individual on the team according to their career goals and skills;
  • Manage a team according to the squad's strategy and OKRs in a remote/ hybrid scenario;
  • Promote team engagement, motivation and psychological safety;
  • Do the operations management of the team (control of vacations, team schedule, presence control, etc);
  • Be able to conduct improvement projects and manage different activities carried out by the team.
  • Participates in high-impact and/or confidential fraud investigations involving customers, employees and third-party workers, with the ability to report the facts in reports and meetings with more senior stakeholders;
  • Create investigation plans;
  • Deals with sensitive cases and knows how to segment information according to the level of confidentiality;
  • Believes in and values ​​the dissemination of Nubank's values ​​and culture.


Basic Qualifications

  • Has experience with regulations related to Distribution/Broker Dealer and processes (PQO, CVM, Anbima regulation);
  • Interpretation and strong logical thinking;
  • Summarize main changes/action plans of a new rule;
  • Tested, implemented or provided advisory to the applicable regulation;
  • Advanced english;
  • Distribution/Broker Dealer regulation/products required, experience on Banking industry and/or knowledge of main products is a plus;
  • Writing skills and objectiveness;
  • Negotiation (for tasks prioritization);
  • Organization.


Preferred Qualification

  • PQO Compliance Certification;
  • Has been exposed to regulatory compliance or risk management activities in a broker dealer matters for at least 3 years;
  • Has dealt with stakeholders that communicate in English and Portuguese.
