About the team

Policy Enforcement acts at first line of defense, providing advice about the regulation of Customer Data, KYC practices, internal procedures and best practices, helping and creating prevention mechanisms to avoid non-compliances that materialize regulatory, financial risks and reputation.


About the role

  • Perform adherence tests of processes and customer data with quality and consistency;
  • Map, analyze and interpret changes in regulations that may affect the area of KYC and AML, analyzing possible direct and indirect impacts;
  • Provide regulatory advice on regulatory matters covering the area;
  • Communicate with product areas, as well as analyzing requirements for new products and services, as well as keeping controls up to date;
  • Identify, analyze, suggest and create controls to mitigate possible gaps in procedures, operation and data integrity;
  • Act on action plans with internal and external audit;
  • Apply the Corporate Governance methodology on a daily basis and anticipate possible impacts of new projects;
  • Maintain contact and work with our stakeholders to ensure that all Nubank processes are in compliance with current policies, regulatory standards and KYC best practices and registration for Nubank;
  • Prepare executive reports on the main indicators of the area in english.


Basic Qualifications

  • Has previous experience in the cadastral, KYC and/or AML area of financial institutions and/or fintechs and digital banks;
  • Knows and interprets BACEN, RFB, CVM and SUSEP regulations related to registration, KYC, PLD-FT and Payment Arrangements;
  • Knowledge of Risk Assessment methodology and experience in performing adherence tests;
  • Has analytical, critical and interpretive skills to perform and analyze adherence tests of processes and customer data;
  • Be data driven;
  • Ability to read and write materials and communicate in english: you will need to write reports, read and analyze documents, communicate with our stakeholders and do presentations.

*Interviewing and onboarding are currently done virtually due to COVID-19. Everyone new to the team and our current staff will remain working from home until it is safe to return to our offices. When it’s time, we will require a fixed cadence of visiting the office in which employees go to their Business Unit's (BU) base location.
