Job’s Main Purpose 

This role will be responsible for guaranteeing the success of the operation together with the rest of the team, by planning and supervising the operations related to the Onboarding, Offboarding, Inventory processes, proceduralizing and documenting the operation associated with this key area for Nubank.

Coordinate people and processes inside and outside of IT Eng to deliver projects and products on time, within budget and with the desired results aligned with the objectives of the organization and the team.

The success of this role lies in adding value to the operation, creating strategies and plans that can cover the needs of the areas that do not have immediate and internal clients of IT Eng, generating visible and impressive results, with a critical, honest, creative mentality. and deeply collaborative.

Building a safe ecosystem for the coexistence of the operation, strategy and tactics, in an environment of trust with the primary goal of achieving amazing results by influencing purpose, people, and process.

Responsibilities

  • Definition of both internal and third party resource requirements, effectively and efficiently, that enable or optimize the operation.
  • Prepare budgets based on the proposals to optimize issues related to the operation, participate in the construction of strategic projects
  • Being able to prepare and work within a project plan that allows identifying milestones, workflows, interactions, interdependencies and key activities.
  • Track critical projects or activities and provide regular status reports to key stakeholders.
  • Being able to adjust to changes in scope, jointly identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Constantly identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage the relationship and communication with the client and all interested parties, ensuring that the project is delivered to the agreements.
  • Participate and provide critical points for the management of contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Use the best practices, techniques and standards, make use of the lessons learned and be able to share and communicate them efficiently.
  • Talk to different internal customers, influence and engage various teams at Nubank;

Preferred Qualifications and background

  • Experience being accountable for people management, 
  • A good level of technical understanding, being able to take part in discussions with Engineers and to translate complex, technical projects and concepts for non-engineers. 
  • Strong desire to discover and fulfill the needs of users.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and making decisions based on data.
  • Great willingness to learn and adapt to a high-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to ambiguous and changing situations.
  • Fluent in English (written and oral) is mandatory, Portuguese is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degrees in engineering with management studies are nice to have.
  • Ability to interact with suppliers and third parties.
