About the team

Our Internal Auditors protect Nubank while challenging traditional auditing by embracing technology. It’s the auditors' job to assess the internal controls of Nubank’s main risks and provide assurance, advisory, and insights about them, helping our company grow healthy.

About the role

As an Internal Audit Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be part of the IT Pack and the main responsible for the cybersecurity scope, from gathering data and analysing risks to build the annual audit planning, to participating in and conducting audit fieldworks, executing tests and producing the final report along with the team. You will be the Internal Audit reference in cybersecurity matters for auditors and other Nubank squads, interacting with stakeholders from the first and second lines of defense, discussing and following up on findings and action plans implementation. 

You will also act as a knowledge multiplier, sharing your experience and training other auditors to elevate the team's cybersecurity skills, while actively participating in Internal Audit's strategic projects. And you will be doing all of this in an environment full of new technologies and tools, having to continuously study and understand the surroundings as Nubank evolves and changes, with the freedom and incentive to create new and more efficient ways of assessing the company's risks.

 

  • Conduct the cybersecurity scope definition for the Internal Audit annual planning, gathering internal/external data and analyzing risks to prioritize the most relevant subjects
  • Conduct cybersecurity audits, from planning to reporting, and also participate in other types of audits assessing cybersecurity risks, executing and automating tests, and also orientating the other auditors to achieve the best results
  • Consolidate as a reference in cybersecurity for Nubank, interacting with stakeholders from the first and second lines of defense, representing Internal Audit in risk and findings discussions, and providing guidance in action plans definition
  • Follow-up on the implementation of action plans generated by audit findings
  • Prepare and conduct training on cybersecurity themes to elevate the Internal Audit team's knowledge
  • Orientate less senior auditors interested in specializing in cybersecurity
  • Participate in Internal Audit's and IT Pack's strategic projects

 

What we are looking for

  • Solid knowledge with key components of cybersecurity, such as access and identity management, network & infrastructure security, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, security governance, risk and compliance, security architecture, data protection, application security (web and mobile), cloud security, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of commonly used cybersecurity frameworks and standards
  • Knowledge of SQL, Scala or other data manipulation language
  • Knowledge of programming languages
  • Intermediate English level
  • Knowledge in financial market regulation related to technology such as CMN Resolution 4,893 from Bacen

*Interviewing and onboarding is currently done virtually due to COVID-19. Everyone new to the team and our current staff will remain working from home until it is safe to return to our offices.
