In Product Control we are part of the first line of defense to deliver trustworthy information for the existing and upcoming products, with the strong belief that we are impacting directly on our customers by creating a great experience for them.

About the role

  • Work with cross chapters teams (it ops, legal, taxes, regulatory reporting) to develop and create accounting rulebooks for new products and features. 
  • Solid experience on accounting of financial products.
  • Strong banking regulation knowledge


Basic Qualifications


  • 4 to 5 years of experience in Financial reporting, Bank accounting or equivalent functions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, fluent in English.
  • Strong Financial reporting knowledge in banking/financial institutions.
  • Experience using International Accounting Policies (IFRS)
  • Programming languages, i.e., SQL.


Preferred Qualification

  • Past experience with financial systems (SAP is a plus).
  • Ability to work in a fast-past environment and cross chapter teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills

*Interviewing and onboarding are currently done virtually due to COVID-19. Everyone new to the team and our current staff will remain working from home until it is safe to return to our offices. When it’s time, we will require a fixed cadence of visiting the office in which employees go to their Business Unit's (BU) base location. Employees will have an employment contract based on the cities that Nu’s offices are located, considering their country of hire. More details can be shared during your hiring process.
