About Nubank

Tackling the complex banking system to empower people in one of the world's most bureaucratic markets seems like a crazy idea, right? But that's why, how, and where Nubank was born. We fight complexity through our transparent and straightforward products and experiences: a no-fee credit card, a rewards program, a lending platform, and a digital savings account. In a nutshell, we are the most innovative tech company in Latin America, and we are obsessed with building financial services and products that make our customers love us fanatically. With over 34 million customers and $1 billion raised in investment rounds, we are the fastest growing digital bank in the world, with offices in Brazil, Germany, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina. And it's still only Day One for us!

Analytics Engineering at Nubank

The Analytics Engineers find themselves at the intersection of the skillset of Business Analysts, Data Engineers and Data Scientists, but, while the main goal of Business Analysts or Data Scientists is to analyze data, the Analytics Engineers spends time modeling, transforming, cleaning, testing, deploying, and documenting data, as well as engineering solutions to serve analytics stakeholders - empowering everyone to answer their own questions. They apply software engineering best practices like version control and continuous integration to the analytics code base. By having a primary role in Data Governance, they're responsible for the data stewardship and data landscape architecture, guaranteeing good Data practices across the entire company, building tools to support the efforts of analysts and engineers, as well as communicating business needs to engineers, bringing an analytical and business-outcomes mindset, and engineering best practices to business stakeholders.
