Overview:

nTop is looking for a Graphics Software Engineer. In this role, you will build high-performance visually stunning software features that allow our customers to quickly design complex parts in an nTop notebook, accurately visualize them in the 3D scene, and interactively edit them to solve engineering challenges faster. You and your team will create innovative graphics solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.

This role reports to the Engineering Manager, EMEA.

Responsibilities: 

  • Work as an agile team with a UX designer, Product Manager and your fellow engineers to build the best next-generation engineering software 
  • Deliver high-quality technical implementations that meet design requirements
  • Participate in the full software development cycle, including design, implementation, and testing
  • Be involved in code reviews, as both a participant and reviewer
  • Design and implement new UX workflows (2D UI and 3D components), with a strong focus on interactivity between UI and Viewport

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related field, or 3 years of relevant software development experience
  • Willing to grow and explore new fields of expertise
  • 5+ years proven experience in C++
  • Experience with graphics programming using OpenGL
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English 

Preferred: 

  • Experience in developing UX for computer aided design/manufacturing systems, 3D modeling software, video games, or other interactive 3D applications
  • Experience with Qt 5.0+
  • Geometry/mathematics for graphics knowledge
  • Experience with general purpose GPU programming
Compensation:
US: $144,000-180,000 annually, depending on experience
France/ Germany: €64,000-100,000, depending on experience
