Responsibilities
Time management and allocation for multiple projects and tasks
Shift management including opening and closing the shop
Lead a morning power up team meeting and end of shift power down team meeting
Material management ensuring the team has what is needed for their tasks
Tool/machine management to support the work scope
Quality Control of prefabricated products that are being built
Develop and train the team with new skills, new equipment and processes in the shop
Coaching team members to correct behavior, skills, and/or shortcomings
Tracking performance of team members and hold monthly evaluations
Safety compliance and accountability in the workplace, for yourself and the fabrication team
Qualifications
3-5 years of leadership experience
Production/manufacturing experience (preferred)
Ability to follow direction, both written and verbal
Self-starter and motivated to learn
Flexible and adaptable to change
Ability to read industrial manuals, blueprints and understand specifications
Attention to detail in QC, processes and procedures
Update/impact reports on production, schedules, and manpower
Daily communication with direct reports professionally, individually and as a group
Education & Certifications
High School Diploma or GED
OSHA 10
OSHA 30 (preferred)
Safety Level This is a safety sensitive position and all applicable policies including drug test and background check will apply.
