The video editor will use their skills to create compelling content and collaborate during every phase of editing, scripting, music, graphics, etc. to ensure that the final product is on brand and within scope. This driven and imaginative individual serves as a key advisor on storytelling from a comprehensive multimedia production lens to accurately depict the innovative approach Nox Group has on the construction industry along with showcasing our unique company culture to recruit highly skilled talent.

Responsibilities  

  • Edits and assembles final visual/audio program material creating compelling and visually interesting products; observes brand standards, ensures consistency and relevancy to production; monitors technical quality of the end product.
  • Manipulate images and video that accurately yet compellingly tell the multi- faceted story of our enterprise and external clients.
  • Responsible for all post-production including exporting and converting footage, editing the footage, managing file locations, and backing up assets to servers with the creative team’s assistance.
  • Assist in coaching on camera subjects on script presentation, tone, and appearance.
  • Creates postproduction elements such as animations, graphics, music, special effects, and translations.
  • Review, proof and edit content with a critical eye.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify new ideas and strategies to drive business objectives.
  • Provides up-to-date knowledge about editing software such as Premiere or Final Cut Pro including new techniques.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot hardware and software.

Qualifications 

  • You have an eye for design -- able to visually tell a story.
  • You have a strong understanding of video production/editing and have a true interest in staying on top of new trends, techniques, and best practices.
  • You have advanced knowledge of camera set up, audio signal measurement, non-linear editing systems, video switchers, routing equipment, studio and remote lighting, computer graphics, and multimedia software.
  • You can assist in all aspects of multimedia production from ideation through completion: scheduling, storyboarding, and equipment management; digital capture, edit, and distribution; and archiving and digital asset management.
  • You exercise creativity: someone who can constantly generate/source ideas and can tap into resourcefulness to get things done effectively.
  • You are self-motivated and can manage multiple projects, ensuring things are done effectively, well organized and on time under tight deadline in a detail-oriented environment.
  • You are an effective verbal and written communicator with an emphasis on quality and accuracy.
  • You actively share work in-progress and embraces the team’s feedback.
  • You are a Team Player: you are a positive contributor in the creative process and can work closely with others to execute the marketing teams’ objectives.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred but not required. Equivalent, at least three (3-5) years, relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
