We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Craft Recruiting Team, specializing in the recruitment of skilled Electrical Workers, Journeyman Electricians, Foremen, and other critical craft roles. You’ll be instrumental in sourcing and securing top talent for some of the most exciting and technically challenging projects in the Southwest, including commercial, industrial, mission-critical, and water/wastewater treatment facilities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape our workforce by recruiting for high-impact projects that require precision, expertise, and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle recruiting lifecycle for field staff on a regional level including, but not limited to:
- Manage requisition intake process directly with hiring manager including profile Matching
- Sourcing plan/strategy creation utilizing direct recruiting and traditional recruitment advertising methods such as a cold calling, direct emailing, attending industry events, Linkedin Recruiter, Indeed.com, ZoomInfo, texting platforms such as GrayScale, as well as leveraging our internal workforce and referral bonus program
- Manage the culture and technical screening/interview process. This includes behavioral based interviewing, utilizing the Predictive Index to screen for job fit, and partnering with the business to screen for technical fit.
- Manages offer negotiations process including offer presentation, request for offer, and offer acceptance.
- Effectively dispositions candidates in the applicant tracking system
- Build effective business partnerships with hiring managers, executive leadership, and other support groups
- Organize and attend recruitment events as necessary
- Build internal and external industry relationships through industry networking events, peer groups, etc.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Coordinators to ensure a positive candidate onboarding and new hire experience
- Provide market intelligence and interview feedback to business leaders
- Assist in recruitment marketing strategies
Qualifications
- 2+ years full cycle recruiting or hands on field experience within the AEC Industry, preferably working for a Specialty electrical contractor.
- Ability to multi-task, collaborate with others, take initiative, and follow through
- Experience managing and tracking candidate pipelines and recruiting activities
- Experienced using assessments such as the Predictive Index during the interview process
- Proven ability building and maintaining relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience with college recruiting a plus
- Proficient with MSFT Office Applications
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication, Human Resources, or related field preferred but not mandatory. Equivalent experience in Recruiting/Talent Acquisition acceptable.
