Provides critical support functions as a mission enabler to include system testing and evaluation, tailored system and operation training, system security, lab management, property accountability and fielding logistical support. Routine activities include providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or
- Experience with Linux (CentOS/RHEL administration or similar *NIX)
- Experience with STE requirement/tools/teams
- Experience with customer information System Security processes and tools (SSP/ATO/IAVA)
- Self-motivated and independent worker
- Willing to learn and improve in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Experience scripting against REST APIs, databases and CSV files
- Experience with network design, security and automation
- Experience with DevOps tech stacks and modern CM and CI/CD tools (especially Ansible)
- Experience with scripting language Perl, Python, Bash or TCL
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI with favorable polygraph
