The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative person to drive our PR and Influencer marketing activities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as part of our DACH team based in Germany.  The role is remote but we come together once a month in Dusseldorf and once a quarter in another European city.  

In this role, you will be responsible for crafting impactful brand communication campaigns, fostering enduring relationships with media and influencers, and deriving valuable insights from campaign performance and market trends.

You’ll have experience in the consumer tech or design products sector, coupled with a creative mindset, and be integral in enhancing brand awareness and product visibility within the dynamic landscape of the consumer tech industry in DACH. 

This role will work closely with, and report to the Marketing Lead for DACH and form part of our global marketing team to localise global activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and execute local PR & influencer marketing strategies in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), consistent to our global brand mission, positioning, and strategies.
  • Conceptualize and create impactful brand communication campaigns with the support of internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Plan, implement and optimise influencer and PR campaigns against our OKRs to drive brand and product awareness.
  • Manage, build, and cultivate direct media and influencer relationships for long-term value creation.
  • Manage and cultivate brand collaborations in the local PR & influencer marketing.
  • Execute performance analysis and optimization across all influencer and PR activities to drive brand and product awareness.
  • Monitor closely any emerging trends, competitor activities, new influencers, and industry experts, integrating them into the current strategy where relevant.
  • Own the affiliate and influencer playbook with best practices to drive brand awareness and sales.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in PR, in B2C/D2C consumer tech, telecommunications, or design products.
  • Advanced understanding of the Influencer/social media landscape 
  • Creative mindset and out-of-the-box thinking in campaign creation
  • Proven expert experience in social media channels, trends, branded content development, influencer, and social metrics/analysis
  • Familiarity with PR and influencer measurement best practices
  • Comfortable with PR and influencer analytic tools (e.g., Meltwater, KOLsquare, etc.)
  • Strong negotiation, storytelling, and communication skills
  • Creative copywriting and event management is a plus
  • Fluent in both German and English with (spoken and written)
  • Ability to travel in Europe
