As an Accounting Clerk, you will have the unique and important responsibility for processing health coverage premiums paid on behalf of employers. In addition, you will interface with internal and external contacts to research and resolve any health coverage related issues. Further, you will have a meaningful and positive impact on people’s lives through ensuring our clients’ employees have the medical coverage when they need it most. You will be responsible for:
Receiving and add/updating employee enrollment documents for health plans
Receiving and reconciling monthly employer contributions (i.e., accounts receivable functions)
Resolving health coverage issues with insurance carriers
Communicating regularly with company human resource departments and employees
Who you are...
Experienced: Min 2 years experience in bookkeeping, accounting, A/R, employee benefits or other related experience
Organized: Prioritize work, able to multitask and be timely with work
Communicator: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills--both written and verbal
Service Minded: Deliver superior and timely customer service, exhibiting empathy and care
Detailed: Strong attention to detail with excellent problem solving skills
Technically Savvy: Intermediate experience with Excel and Word
