WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assist the in-house Film Producer to complete multiple film projects in alignment with organizational branding and visibility.
- Review all required material to determine the needs for the respective film or video projects.
- Ensure finished video or audio outputs are suitable for an audience with low literacy rate, specially those unaware of complex medical information.
- Manage external vendors for editing and post production, and oversee all technical aspects of video editing and motion graphics
- Assemble, and edit, recorded footage and resources with the required animation/ effects or motion graphics, converting them into finished products that match the project owner’s vision
- Be well acquainted with effects, motion graphics, dialogues, music, and basic animation techniques to enhance the visual appeal of the videos.
- Trim footage segments, combine sequences, and incorporate basic motion graphics/ animations as required by any project.
- Review and prepare rough and final cuts of the videos, ensuring they include all relevant styles of storytelling
- Collaborate with the Bangladesh Program Design and Development team, Shared film team and Creative Design/ Animators throughout the production to post-production process.
- Communicate effectively with the relevant project teams, and ensure approval processes are followed
- Work closely with internal designers, animators, writers etc. to ensure each output is aligned to the larger vision and visual style
- Help build and maintain the film repository, ensuring raw files and project files, including motion graphics / animated elements, are updated and accessible to the organization
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Knowledge about filmmaking overall, and experience in editing, motion graphics.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience working in film editing, specially in the development sector and/or public health sector
- Knowledge of Final Cut Pro/Premiere Pro/After Effect/Da Vinci /Photoshop
- Ability to multitask, especially as timing is such an important factor
- Flexible in adapting to any style and form of storytelling
- Curiosity for new editing technologies
- Strong communication skills in Bangla and English is required
