From onboarding to go-live, our Professional Services Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership, delivery, and effectiveness of our professional services function for the APAC region. Working alongside an amazing team of smart, talented, and capable people; you will own and develop the methodology for implementing our solutions.
Reporting into the VP Customer Experience, you will drive a program of continuous improvement identifying opportunities to deliver the best outcomes for our clients throughout the project delivery; from offering the right solutions to providing the support they need all the way. From overseeing the full delivery cycle, you will also be working with customers and building relationships, so you will need to be a strong communicator, problem solver and solution deliverer to be able to interact with and influence a diverse range of client stakeholders.
Our projects, clients and use cases are interesting, worthwhile, varied, and complex. They cover industries such as emergency management, health & safety, security, incident and risk management, counter-terrorism and intelligence, business continuity and crisis management. As a result, we are looking for someone who has successfully managed a large and complex portfolio of projects and has led a similar-sized professional services function in a vendor-client environment, preferably within the enterprise SaaS solutions space.
What does it take to be a Professional Services Manager at Noggin?
You’re a tertiary qualified Project/Program Manager who has exceptional team leadership, coaching and people development skills. You have an expert level of understanding of all the aspects of professional services and project delivery. This includes a thorough understanding of various project methodologies as well as best practice when it comes to commercial, risk, project and change management. You will be responsible for continuous improvement to our services model and hence you will bring with you your sharp mind; your excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities; and your passion for excellence and improvement.
You have a solid track record of building, leading, and scaling a professional services team and have successfully led a team of project managers and implementation consultants. With your project management experience, you can identify risks and issues across a large and diverse portfolio of projects as well as act as the key point of escalation. You have had experience working with senior client stakeholders; resolving complex project issues; and you have demonstrated achievements in ensuring the right methodologies, systems and processes are in place to deliver the best outcomes for our clients.
You have an analytical and process-oriented mindset and as a result, you understand the importance of data, reporting, analytics, business improvement, and innovation. You are an exceptional communicator who can offer strategic insight to senior and executive management and deliver on various strategic objectives stemming from this.
What does success look like in this role?
In your first 3 months, you will have inherited a fully engaged team of consultants and have built a strong understanding of our products and services and Noggin methodology. You have pro-actively addressed risks / issues / opportunities across your portfolio and have started to engage with key client stakeholders, as well as guide and support your team with their implementations to ensure a successful project delivery.
By the 6-month mark, you will be fully across all Noggin’s systems and tools and have established effective reporting and resource management. You have maintained a highly functioning and engaged project teams; you will fully understand the key drivers of success in your project portfolio, and you will be fully accountable for resource planning.
12 months in, you have become a valued member of the senior management group and you have successfully delivered industry leading solutions to our clients. You will have started to see the benefits of your business improvement initiatives and you can demonstrate this to the executive. The Noggins in your charge will be engaged, developing and high performing. Longer term, you could be stepping up into a Global Professional Services Director role.
