As a Marketing Manager at Noggin, you’ll lead the marketing team of creatives, writers, and coordinators to ensure all marketing initiatives are planned, set up, executed and reported on. You’re someone with a keen eye for detail, strong motivation to succeed, a passion for leading others, and a no nonsense, “get it done” attitude.
What does it take to be a Noggin?
We’re looking for a well-rounded, marketing aficionado who loves diversity of marketing content and delivering marketing across different, and nuanced markets.
You’ve had your hands in all aspects of marketing throughout your career – digital, above the line advertising, PR, events, ABM, reporting, product marketing and strategy. And you’ve got experience successfully managing and developing a marketing team, and can demonstrate insightful reporting on marketing budgets/activity. You’ll be expected to manage media spend and give clear reporting on Cost per lead. And you’ll have solid experience in inbound and outbound marketing related activity. With stakeholders, you’ll be capable of helping sales, channel managers, product teams and implementation teams do their job better by delivering great presentations and marketing output. And you’ll know how to energize content writers and graphic designers, in order to get great creative output.
Preferably, you’ll have in depth experience with software that makes the marketing function tick – CRM, Inbound marketing platforms like Hubspot or Pardot, sales enablement software, ABM and ad serving platforms.
You’ve got impeccable project management skills, have never met a deadline you couldn’t meet, and have a keen ability to get things done (and empower others along the way). You are someone who has honed their skills in various marketing initiatives over the years and is ready to take their career to the next level for a global software company. You’re hungry, motivated and while you may not know it all, you’re eager to learn, grow and succeed. Above all, you’ll have a ‘grow or die’ attitude.
As Noggins, we deal with some pretty remarkable, yet complex products. We solve problems for governments and large corporations that would blow your mind. We’re a global company, with offices around the world, and we sell and market ourselves in all of those regions. We need a Marketing Manager who lives and breathes stakeholder management, tasking, project management, and reporting. At the end of the day, you love marketing and you love leading people – right?
What does success look like in this role?
Within 3 months, you will be fully up to speed with our solution areas, industries, and software products. You will have taken on the day-to-day management of the marketing team and all metric-based reporting. You’ll have started to execute campaigns aligned with product strategy, lead generation, and other initiatives.
6 months in, you will have a consistent track record of delivering projects on time and ensuring campaigns get completed and out the door. You’ll have taken ownership of all marketing initiatives and campaigns and ensure that learnings from previous projects are incorporated into new ones. You will have become an integral part of the Marketing team and have proven yourself as a reliable, motivated, and driven leader.
12 months and beyond, you’ll be taking ownership of all strategic marketing initiatives and annual planning. You’ll be working with the team 1:1 to hone their skills, plan career trajectories, and ensure high engagement. Your impact on the workflow of the team will be noticeable, and you’ll be adding value to everything you work on. You’ll have received countless positive feedback remarks from your peers and will be looking to improve the team’s performance in year 2.
