Why become the Business Development Manager at Noggin?
As our Business Development Manager, you will play an integral part of our sales function in building and maintaining enterprise sales opportunities in the APAC region and ensuring success of the region. You will own and drive our enterprise software and will be armed with meaningful referenceable customers.
You won’t be selling a mundane run-of-the-mill software solution, you’ll be selling a game-changing tool that enables organisations and communities to turn chaos into order and manage disruption, smarter. You will be working with a global and expanding organisation in exciting new industries, countries and use cases. You will collaborate with members of the Business Development function to formulate and execute strategic business plans to drive targeted new business in supporting Noggin's solution growth in the region.
What does it take to be a Noggin?
You're no stranger to the world of sales, with exposure to working in the software or SaaS industry. You have proven track record of hitting/exceeding your quota in enterprise sales and have been successful in managing major accounts and large contracts. You are persistent in winning deals, autonomous and have excellent relationship building skills.
You communicate confidently, and you know how to get buy-in across all levels of an organisation. You have proven experience in business development, you know how to use and get the best out of your CRM and you've worked with automated sales engagement tools.
Given your new business hunting background and preferably knowledge within the Health, Safety & Risk environment solutions market, you're excited by the prospect of being able to expand Noggin's footprint in the APAC region, offering smart solutions to complex business problems and building a portfolio of large, referenceable enterprise customers.
What does success look like in this role?
In your first 3 months, you will have become fully acquainted with our products, solution areas and competitor markets. You will be able to effectively articulate Noggin’s value propositions, overcome prospect objections and engage in thoughtful conversations about buyer’s needs.
6 months in, you have established a clear picture of your go-to-market sales strategy for the APAC region and you've had a number of successes executing this - with a solid sales forecast and pipeline developing. When you have won business, your new customers are raving about their experience working with you and the rest of Noggins.
After 12 months, you have established, delivered and communicated a strong sales plan across the region. You have mastered the art of selling our solutions and the significant deals and successes you've had until that point are a testament to this - as is the fact that you've exceeded your targets plus you have a healthy forecast for the following 12 months already.
