About The Team:
Noah Medical’s Research and Development (R&D) Team is responsible for the development of endoluminal medical device solutions that are safe, effective, and on-time.
We are a dynamic, data driven team and pride ourselves on our creative and collaborative approach to problem solving. We continuously strive for win-win solutions that our customers love.
Noah Medical R&D team members have the traditional role of design and prototyping but also take the lead on design requirements, specifications, design risk assessment, test methods, verification testing and more. R&D also plays a critical cross functional role in support through production and even field reliability.

A Day In The Life Of Our Mechanical Engineering Intern:
- Work collaboratively across cross-functional teams in a start-up environment with minimal supervision and guidance.
- Contribute to the design and development process of a robotic platform and its subsystems.
- Understand product requirements and specifications and be able to create designs and test methods to ensure those requirements are met.
- Be able to stick to aggressive schedules and timelines while maintaining a high level of work
- Provide excellent communication of technical issues as they arise to support the needs of the Mechanical Engineering team.
About You:
- Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related engineering or scientific discipline required.
- Good verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with rapid prototyping and testing.
- Good understanding of the the design, documentation, and testing process for new ideas is preferred
- Experience with CAD systems (Solidworks or similar).
- Prior experience with a Product Lifecycle Management system (Minerva, Agile, or similar) is preferred.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed based on candidate experience level and/or specialized skills. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.
