We are seeking an entrepreneurial CEO for PelviSure, which aims to address a significant unmet need in women’s health: safe and effective treatment for stress urinary incontinence (SUI). SUI affects millions of women worldwide, limiting their daily activities, confidence, and overall quality of life. Current treatment options, particularly those using polypropylene mesh, are often associated with painful and dangerous complications, including chronic pain and tissue erosion.
The Innovation
PelviSure is poised to make surgical solutions for SUI safer. Our advanced biomimetic urethral sling, made from a biocompatible material that mimics natural tissue, is designed to integrate seamlessly with the body, offering women a safer, more effective solution. By reducing risks and improving patient outcomes, this breakthrough innovation has the potential to restore quality of life and confidence for women around the world.
The Position
As the CEO of PelviSure, you will drive the venture from its current preclinical stage through clinical development, regulatory approval, and market launch. Backed by NLC Health Ventures, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated inventor team and strategic partners to bring this life-changing technology to patients. We are seeking a dynamic leader with a strong MedTech background and a genuine passion for creating meaningful patient impact.
Your role as a CEO
- Fundraising: Raise both dilutive and non-dilutive funding to support development from preclinical animal studies all the way to market launch and scaling.
- Product Development and Clinical Research: Oversee the preclinical and clinical phases of the biomimetic sling, working with external experts to navigate the regulatory pathway toward CE/FDA approvals.
- Strategic Partnerships and Networking: Build and leverage a robust network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the urogynecology field across Europe and the US to support clinical advancement and market acceptance.
- Market Access: Engage with patient communities and healthcare professionals to build trust and acceptance for PelviSure’s technology, addressing the need for safe, effective SUI treatment.
Your profile
- Strong fundraising track record in MedTech.
- Network of KOLs in urogynecology, as well as knowledge of the market landscape for medical devices treating SUI.
- Understanding of the regulatory landscape for Class III medical devices, including CE and FDA pathways.
- Experience with preclinical and clinical studies for medical devices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
