ABOUT THE JOB
As the Head of Marketing at Nirmata, you will lead the development and execution of our global marketing strategy, driving exponential growth through a strong product marketing foundation, data-driven content strategy, and scalable demand generation programs. You will serve as the subject matter expert in translating technical product capabilities into compelling business value, while owning end-to-end campaigns that nurture prospects into qualified leads. This role demands a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, collaborates cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Sales teams, and executes high-impact programs aligned with Nirmata’s financial and strategic goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Scale the Marketing function, optimizing processes, tools, and team capabilities to support rapid growth.
- Own demand generation strategy, including planning, execution, and performance measurement across digital, content, and event channels.
- Develop product-centric messaging, positioning, and branding that differentiates Nirmata in the enterprise DevOps and cloud-native markets.
- Build and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with product launches, customer journeys, and SEO/SEM optimization.
- Lead end-to-end lead management, including scoring, nurturing, and conversion, leveraging marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot) to streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with Product team to create sales enablement assets, technical collateral, and customer success stories.
- Drive community engagement and adoption of open-source projects through targeted campaigns and partnerships.
- Organize webinars, industry events, and analyst relations to amplify brand visibility and thought leadership.
- Measure, analyze, and report on campaign ROI, pipeline impact, and funnel efficiency to stakeholders.
- Manage the marketing tech stack, ensuring integration with CRM and Sales workflows.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years in B2B product marketing, with a proven ability to craft messaging for enterprise software/cloud technologies.
- 5+ years in demand generation, including expertise in SaaS/Cloud marketing and multi-channel campaign execution.
- Strong background in content strategy development, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media.
- Experience at early-to-mid-stage tech startups, with a focus on scaling marketing operations.
- Demonstrated success in marketing to Enterprise IT/DevOps/Platform leaders and technical buyers.
- Proficiency in marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Technical aptitude to translate complex DevOps/Security/cloud-native concepts into clear business benefits.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with a portfolio showcasing product-led content.
- Collaborative mindset with a track record of aligning Sales, Product, and Executive teams.
- Data-driven, results-oriented executor with expertise in campaign analytics and KPIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Deep understanding of enterprise DevOps, Kubernetes, or cloud-native technologies.
- MBA or advanced degree in Marketing.
- Experience managing open-source community initiatives.
